About Course
Learn Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) from zero and prepare for the Level II exam. The course has 9 interactive animated lessons with voice-over, an equipment simulator, a bilingual workbook you read right inside the course, and a question bank with practice by topic and a timed mock exam.
Topics run from the principles of magnetism, circular and longitudinal magnetization, currents and the hysteresis loop, field distribution, current requirements and demagnetization, equipment and media and applying the method, to discontinuities and indications, method selection and certification. Everything is in both Indonesian and English. Lesson 1 is free to try.
The MT Equipment Practical Simulator has a virtual AC/DC yoke, permanent-magnet yoke and wet bench unit. Lift-test the yokes, check the bath concentration, measure UV-A, verify the field with indicators, magnetise in two directions, interpret the indications, then demagnetise.
