Radiographic Testing (RT) Level II

Learn Radiographic Testing (RT) from zero and prepare for the Level II exam. The course has 15 interactive animated lessons with voice-over, an equipment simulator, a bilingual workbook you read right inside the course, and a question bank with practice by topic and a timed mock exam.

Topics run from the radiographic process and radiation, x-ray and gamma-ray sources, the geometry of the shadow, exposure, absorption and contrast, screens and scatter, and the arithmetic of exposure, through image quality and IQIs, film, sensitometry and processing, process control, special techniques and digital radiography, to interpreting radiographs and radiation protection. Everything is in both Indonesian and English. Lesson 1 is free to try.

The RT Equipment Practical Simulator has a virtual 300 kV x-ray unit and Ir-192 gamma camera with the controls of real equipment. Set the geometry, read the exposure chart, measure film density and the IQI, check for backscatter, set the radiation boundary, then interpret the weld.
