Eddy Current Testing (ET) Level II

About Course

Learn Eddy Current Testing (ET) from zero and prepare for the Level II exam. The course has 11 interactive animated lessons with voice-over, an equipment simulator, a bilingual workbook you read right inside the course, and a question bank with practice by topic and a timed mock exam.

Topics run from electricity and AC circuits, magnetism, induction and what affects eddy currents, through probes, instruments and the impedance plane, test variables and reference standards, to surface testing, conductivity, coatings and thickness, tubes, bars and multi-frequency, and codes, procedures, reports and safety. Everything is in both Indonesian and English. Lesson 1 is free to try.

The ET Equipment Practical Simulator is a virtual eddy current flaw detector with the controls of a real one. Calibrate on an EDM-notch reference block, then find hidden surface cracks in a test panel.
